Play Stream Deck Soundboard Sounds on Discord…

Install VoiceMeeter Banana

1. Install VoiceMeeter Banana.
2. Make sure to restart when prompted.
3. Set your Hardware Input to your headset microphone and check that your input number matches the virtual input.
4. Set Hardware Output to “a1” and make sure the virtual input has the same setting.

Windows

1. Right click on the Windows Sound Icon in the Tasktray and select Sound Settings.
2. In the Output Section, select VoiceMeeter Aux Input.
3. In the Input Section, select VoiceMeeter Output (Do not use the Aux option).
4. In the Advanced Section, click “More sound settings“.
5. Click on the Communications Tab and select “Reduce the volume of other sounds by 80%” and click “OK“

Stream Deck

1. In the settings for each Soundboard Key, change the Output to VoiceMeeter Aux Input.

Discord

1. In Discord go to Settings > Voice & Video.
2. Change the INPUT DEVICE to VoiceMeeter Output (vb-audio Voicemeeter vaio)
3. Change OUTPUT DEVICE to VoiceMeeter Input (vb-audio Voicemeeter vaio).
4. Set your INPUT VOLUME to 100% to avoid quieter sounds getting cut off to early.
5. Set your OUTPUT VOLUME to 80% or higher.
